Hi, I am 15 and taking a blood test in a couple days. I know this isn't a problem or any type of emergency to consult a doctor but I'm feeling a little nervous. Ever since I was little i was afraid of blood and now that i'm older is had subsided but i still don't like the thought of it. Pain doesn't bother me. Anyways i was just wondering if you could give me any tips for the blood test. It's Thursday night and i'm taking it on Sunday at about 1 pm. I'm very nervous. Anyways, thanks a lot if you could help me overcome this fear in anyway with tips.
Do not be afraid. If you are going for a blood test and so afraid of blood do not see that blood. Do not turn to that side and see the syringe. Take some body for help and moral support with you. Inform the nurse before hand that you are afraid to see the blood.

How To Overcome Fear Of Blood?
Hi, Thanks for writing to health care magic. Do not be afraid. If you are going for a blood test and so afraid of blood do not see that blood. Do not turn to that side and see the syringe. Take some body for help and moral support with you. Inform the nurse before hand that you are afraid to see the blood. If you become anxious with palpitations etc consult a psychiatrist for further help. Continue to ask further queries as required. Hope this helps. Take care.
