I have aches and pains most specifically in the shoulders, arms, hands, and upper back. How do I address this problem and what medications am I suppose to take. Can this be caused by the cold weather, I feel sluggish and feverish because of these pains and aches. Hope you can help solve this probles. Many thanks.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi there.
You seem to be suffering from some form of arthritis and the muscle pains are a part of the disease.
Sluggishness and feverish feeling are a part and parcel of the disease too. It can get exaggerated during the winters or during seasonal changes.

Firstly get a complete arthritis panel blood test done along with an Xray of the diseased part and get it evaluated by an orthopaedic surgeon.
Start on an anti inflammatory like Naproxyn and pregablin for the time being.

Short course stetoid like predmet under strict supervision.
Good luck.
