How To Overcome Swollen Lymph Nodes Under The Ear On Both Sides Of Neck?
I have lymph nodes under my ear on both sides of neck. I have them from 5 years now. Sometimes they cause pain. But doctor is saying nothing to worry. I had ultrasound 2 years ago and was just benign. Why they are not going? One more thing i had surgery of tonsils and adenoids when i was 9. But now i am 28. What is a cause?

Lymph nodes normally respond to infection/inflammation in a particular area.
In most cases they resolve within 4 to 6 weeks but this can vary.
Since they have been present for a number of years , it is possible, since your tests are normal , that there might be some scarring in the nodes themselves preventing complete resolution.
This does not mean that there is any serious underlying condition but if you wish this can be ruled out by repeat ultrasound and full blood count.
