How To Overcome The Itchy Skin Rash Caused Due To The Use Of A Spray That Contains Cyclomethicone?

I've been using a spray fragrance product that contains cyclomethicone and have recently developed an itchy skin rash, primarily in the areas I have targeted most of the spray. Are you familiar with this side effect, and what can be done to alleviate/eradicate the itchy rash?

Hi...first discontinue the spray...then you can take tab cetrizine and apply calamine lotion at those places...and dont spray at those areas with any other spray for atleast a few weeks...

Dermatologist Dr. Ilyas Patel's  Response
Hi,

Cyclomethicone is an irritant chemical for sensitive skin. Nothing can prevent irritation if you are sensitive. I usually advise to avoid the use of products containing cyclomethicone. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks
