Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was not sick mentally but due to familiar problems I was made scapegoat and taken to psychiatrists but did not treat well and brought out many side effects and unbalancing of neurotransmitters in the brain so I have been taking these pills as cipralex for one year but getting side effects in the body now a days I am not feeling better and life has become very hard to cope with how to treat it so that I may live a positive life.
You cannot stop it suddenly, it can be changed to other SSRI or other meds whose prescription needs psychiatric visits in OPD. In one research done on scapegoat in Harvard university says its outcomes are good after using deep breathing exercises, it can reverse mental sickening too. and CBT therapy also shows some effects in treatment’. Stay in good company of people and listen good calming music and smile more.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
