How To Postpone Periods?

HI... My name is Kalpana ...my last menstural date was 4 th January 2015 ...i have to attend a marriage on Mar 4 th 2015 ....so i am planning to postpone my periods this month i.e in....February itself...i have started regestrone tables today i.e 29 th Jan 2015 two tablets( one after breakfast and one after lunch)...so how many days can i take the tablets... to postpone until 10 th February....will it solve my purpose i.e around Ist week of March can i be without bleeding ...can you pls help me in this regard....

Hello Kalpana,
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concern.
Ideally, you might have taken regestrone tablet next month, i.e. exactly when you need not to have periods as there is always chance of disturbance of menstrual cycle after taking hormonal pills.
But as you have already started with regestrone, you can take it maximum upto 18 days. Once you stop it, you can expect bleeding in 2-3 days. So, you can stop it on 8th Feb to get period around 10th feb.
I will also advise you to take regestrone next month from 1st March to 6th March to avoid any untoward complication.
