How To Postpone Periods?

I am currently taking tri-sprintec birth control pills and interested in skipping my period to eliminate having my period during my vacation in July. What is the most effective way to skip my period? To not take the placebo pills and begin my next pack immediately? I wanted to go ahead and do this now to throw my cycle off well in advance of my July vacation. I also don't want to still have breakthrough bleeding or other issues. Your thoughts please.
