Hi.. Well as long as it is a repiratory infection which can spread by means of droplet infection, then probably there are no much of restrictions.. It is better to confirm the presence of infection before you start isolating your aunt.. Discuss with her doctor and know more about her condition..

Many types of hepatitis are preventable. Vaccines are very effective for preventing infection from hepatitis A and hepatitis B. Best way to prevent hepatitis C infection is to avoid contact with the blood of infected people. Try herbal medicine, like Kutki-(Picrorhiza kurroa), Kalmegh-Andrographis paniculata powder to get relief or protection.

hi

welcome to HCM

Your aunt symptoms is not related to Hepatitis. Difficulty in swallowing with weight loss are alarming symptoms. She needs upper GI Endoscopy. Screening for Hepatitis doesn't mean she has the problem. Doctor Might be interested in looking for Hepatitis B and C infection for either specific or general reasons.

Prevention : General personnel hygiene , Safe drinking water , avoiding sharing of needles, safe sex.

Vaccination for Hepatitis A and B virus. Check serum HBsAg before Vaccination for Hepatitis B Virus.

Take care
