My grand father died suddenly at age 59 of atherosclerosis. His son has also just died aged 61 of the same thing. Both smoked, were tall and slim, did not drink much and were fairly healthy. I am 44, have never smoked, exercise a lot, eat healthily, and am not overweight. My cholesterol is 6. Blood pressure normal. Genetically I am probably predestined to the same thing as my grandfather. But is there anything I can do to stop this happening to me. Or is it fate? If it s going to happen, it s glong to happen?
