Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you!
Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.
Chalazion are formed when oil made from meibomium glands of the eyelid don't drain. Gland blocks and oil is accumulated as a thin layer and formes chalazion.
It has many risk factors which are actually
medically well establishes diseases. Some are :-
* inflammation of the eyelids and eyelashes
* a form of
Acne * a form of skin infection
*Tuberculosis
*Viral infections
You should prevent these risk factors to prevent chalazion.
Now what to do:-
Apply warm compresses ( a sterilized gauze piece or clean cloth dipped in hot water and wrung up makes a very good warm compress. Dip it time and again in water to make it warm again). Apply 20 minutes 5 times a day continuously. Keep and
massage gently on the eyelid until one day chalazion is drained. We have to drain the stagnant oil that has became a layer of grease due to obstruction to the
drainage.
Hope it helps. If you need further, detailed and quick assistance related to any health issues in future, feel free to 'ask me a question' directly from my profile.
Have a wonderful time ahead.
Best Regards!
