I have been diagnosed with chronic Pancreatitis. I have episodes where I will get dizzy and extremely nauseated Then I get uncontrollable diarrhea and severe vomiting for hours. Sometimes at this point i pass out if no one is there to help me. At a point I can stop long enough to get to the hospital I go and they do bloodwork and my lipase has been up to 2700. What can I do to prevent these episodes. I am taking Carafate before each meal and at bedtime, as well as Dexalant each day. This is extremely miserable and can come on at any time. Some of these symptoms remind me of Crohns Disease. Any suggestion would be a huge help.
