I am what the doctors say a prediabetic . At the age of 63 my sugar levels are found to be increasing. I consulted a specialist who prescribed GP1(morning), cetapin twise and thyronorm 75 mcg. The fasting sugar level is around 122 125. Your advise pl.
dear sir/madam,any fasting blood sugar more than 126 is considered diabetes. I feel it is a strong dosage to start with considering your age. I am also not sure why thyronorm was prescribed to you. If I was treating you I would give a try with diet and exercise before going in for tablets. Please keep monitoring your blood sugars and also step up on your diet and exercise. I am confident that this would cut down your dosage of medicines.Wishing you the best.
