miscarriage is known as abortion also
there are two main reason
one occur itself and other one induced by person
reason for first
-heredity
-stress
-infection
-anemia
-high blood pressure
-problem in uterus or other organ
-dehydration
-side effect of some drug
-smoking
-trauma
-malnutrition etc

prevention of it not possible in all case but proper care and regular follow up of gynecologist do well.
if body structure problem is not there then it will not affect future pregnancy

Read your prob , miscarrige is nothing but loss os fetus . there are many causes of it some of them are hormonal imbalance(gonadal ,thyroid ) PCOD, deformity in utrus, genetic defect . some one should get hormonal test USG for rule out PCOD or uterine deformity.
