How To Prevent Swelling And Rashes On Ankles And Feet?

While on a Caribbean cruise recently my ankles and feet became swollen and a rash developed along the outer edge of each foot. Since I have returned home the swelling has disappeared and the rash is almost gone. Can I prevent this happening on future trips to a warm climate?

Hi,

Dermatological conditions are hard to discuss without seeing them. Sun and irritation could do this, or even varicose veins and those have prevention. Yeast infection from water exposure and getting an area soaked and sore could also do this and be preventable.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
