How To Rectify The Bad Result Post Orthodontic Treatment?
Hi I recently had orthodontic treatment. Results are not good. Narrow arch and too far behind lip causing lip lines. Have awful pulling down pain on nose bridge and stinging in eyes. Seen consultant and had full head xray revealing my upper palate is bent over at interior and teeth down and pulled back. It feels unbearable. I had overbite but he told me he was going to just lift uppef teeth and intrude lowers. He did not intrude lower teeth, he pulled them up further out of gum and now they just look too upright and are pulling my chin up when I smile. I feel unwell mainly by what he s done with my upper palate and the feeling on my nose and eyes. Help.
Hi. I understand your concern and sorry to know your situation which does not seems to be correct on many fronts. It is truly impossible to say anything without seeing the pre and post treatment records....The best option is to return to your orthodontist and ask him about the situation and how to overcome it. If you feel he is not fair to you ,you can ask for your previous dental model and records and need to consult a competent and compassionate orthodontist in your locality.Make sure he is properly diagnosing you.Do not panic and have patience.....I hope the information helps you.Good luck
