How To Reduce Arm Pain?

my left arm hurts. feels like it is in the bone. I haven t done anything to bruise it or fracture it. my hand feels like it is swelling and tight but it is not. I had a sweater on earlier and the tightness of the sweater especially the cuff made the pain worse.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Pain in the arm is a non-specific feature and is caused by multiple causes.
Is there any history of trauma to the arm?
Pain in arms can occur due to disorders of musculoskeletal system or any bony lesion.
Associated swelling (as you are experiencing) suggests soft tissue lesion.
Thus, you need to get a X-ray of the forearm.
MRI may also be done to assess the state of soft tissues of arm.
Consult an orthopedician for clinical assessment, relevant investigations and thus management.

Thanks and take care
