Back pain. Slightly left of spinal cord just above waist. Not painful to walk but pain in back when sitting. Getting some relief with tennis ball on Pain spot when sitting. Aleve does not help. How to get relief. Seems like tight muscle. Sitting most painful. Stretch exercise? Muscle relaxer? Thank you!
You can take Tab Flexon MR and apply diclofenac gel locally. Can also apply ice pack and heating pads locally. Do some stretching exercise along with yogasanas, it will help. Don't sit for too long, do not bend forward and do not sit downside.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
