I m looking for idea s from causes, potential long term effects and non prescribed ways to lower my blood pressure.
Hi welcome to HCM. The average blood pressure that is needed to be maintained is around 130/80 mm of hg.Drugs like ace inhibitors and calcium channel blockers help to reduce the blood pressure to normal levels.Regular physical activity and reduction of salt intake to less than 6 gm /day can help to control the blood pressure.I advice you to have a screening 2 dimensional echocardiography to rule out organic heart lesions.Consult your cardiologist for further help. Thank you
