I have a big event tomorrow which will last all day and i have just come on my period. i don't want to be heavy tomorrow so what shall i do? is it too late to take utovlan? also would it better to take cyklo-f heavy period relief tablets instead? Thanks
Utavlon containing norethisterone usually help to prepone or postpone the periods and can help in the regularization of the cycles. But, as now your periods already started this may not be that much useful as you mentioned.
Cyklo-f containing Tranexamic acid can help in decreasing the heavy flow during menstrual cycles without usually affecting the cyclical pattern. So, with your doctor's advice you can go for it. Depending on the severity per day, two or three tablets may be needed. But better to use any tablets after consulting your gynecologist only.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
