I recently got the depo shot for birth control last month and the I started having brown discharge 4days ago so I inserted my playtex gentle glide 360 super plus fresh scent and then my private area started itching and burning& hurting and when I wash up it burns what do I do please help me
The itching and burning sensation in vagina after use of fresh scent do indicates sensitivity and allergic reaction to the content. Following measures will help you: - Avoid further use of such scent in future - Sitz bath with lukewarm water added epsom salt and lavender oil - Local application of aloe vera gel - Use of emolient such as calamine lotion - Anti histamine tablet as Cetirizine, Loratidine or Montelukast - Avoid intercourse, sex toys if involved - Maintain hydration with plenty of liquids
