I m a 20 yr old woman with acne. I get breakouts more often than i did in high school. It s been getting worse. I tend to breakout more when I m stressed and when my menstrual cycle is coming. after a breakout clears I often have very dark acne scars . I have tried multiple products to reduce and stop my breakouts but I haven t had much luck. most treatments just dried my face out or made my breakouts worse. The only thing that has been working to reduce my breakouts is a acne wash by neutrogena. It works pretty well on reducing my breakouts but it doesn t clear them. it s not exactly what I want but it does something and I use that to wash my face twice a day instead of using soap which just dries my skin out and I ve tried using dove . is there any thing i could use that i could find in a store or at home with out seeing a dermatologist that will reduce, stop my break outs and reduce the appearance of acne scars?
