How To Reduce Pain And Scarring From Second(2) Degree Burns?
Hi,I suffered a 2nd degree burn on a large area of my leg two days ago,I've been to a nurse who gave some pills and injections againt infections, den she applied an ink(I don't know what its called)she says it will dry it off if I apply that everyday.my question is:is the ink alone enough or is there something else I should apply? How do I prevent having a huge scar on my leg? What can I use to ease the pain?
Dear 2nd. degree burns on a large area is not to be taken lightly. The ink type application can be gentian violet which was the remedy in past. Proper antibiotics are a must to prevent infection. Burn wounds take very long to heal. Look for prevention of strictures also. Go for the best available allopathic treatment. In ayurveda we use shat dhaut ghrit locally. Turmeric is used internally for quick healing
