How To Reduce Pain And Swelling In Ankle?

Stepped off my porch an rolled my ankle heard a pop an crack when I hit the ground was in bad pain but now its really warm an tingly an I can put some pressure on it but when I try to move it I have a really sharp pain in the ball of my ankle an is swelling up ? Broken sprain or fracture need to know if I should get a xray

i have gone through ur case and being ur physcian i completely understands ur health concerns
All u need now is to take rest and immobilize the ankle joint use ankle brace . Do regular icing and get some painkillers like acetaminophin or ibuprofen..
swelling will take time to heal atleast two weeks. you should get an x ray and meet orthopedic surgeon but soft tissue injury dont come up in X ray.
