How To Reduce Pain And Tightness In Muscle Of Upper Legs?

I started in 2009 with muscle pain in the front of my upper legs. I had a full pannel of tests done and the only thing they found was a D vitamin deficiency. I have taken d and a lot of other vitamins such as Magnesium and Magnesium/Calcium. Nothing seems to help. It feels like my muscles have been cut in w/e and a portion taken out of them and put them back together and they are very tight. Any suggestions?
