General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I can understand your concern.
This is something which should not be ignored.
Sudden onset pain which is very severe can be due to
1. Injury to the testes
2. Torsion of testes
3. Any inflammation due to infections.
You havent mentioned about any injury sustained.
This should be physically exmined by a surgeon for a torsion because torsion unless corrected immediately would lead to peranent death of the testes and then orchidectomy(removal of testes) would be required.
Kindly get an ultrasound done immediately for scrotum. By this the cause can be easily known.
If it is a simpme inflammation it can be treated with anti inflammatory drugs like aceclofenac. Kinly donot ignore.
Hope you are satisfied with the response. Thanks for choosing HCM
