How To Reduce Swelling And Bruising In Eyes After Eyelid Surgery To Remove Stye?

i had a stye on my top eyelid that had been removed by a doctor. she used a needle to freeze my eye, then she popped it. My eye is a little swollen and bruised now. i had an antibiotic cream i apply four times a day. Is there any other way i could speed up the process of my swollen and bruised eye lid? I haven't been wearing eye makeup either, when will i be able to again?

Hi!
Welcome to HCM!
An external stye , is an infection of the sebaceous glands of Zeis at the base of the eyelashes while internal styes are infections of the meibomian sebaceous glands lining the inside of the eyelids. They also cause a red bump underneath the lid with only generalized redness and swelling visible on the outside.
Styes usually produce no lasting damage,so no need to worry, apply antibiotics, wash the eyes regularly and donot apply eye makeup for few more days!Take care!
