How To Reduce Swelling And Discoloration Around Index Finger Joint?
I sliced my index finger near nail with a knife while chopping up veggies. The cut wasn t too deep. I apllied pressure, antibiotic ointment and bandage. I bleed through, so I twisted a napkin around outside and continued my work. 10 minutes later i notice swelling and discoloration around joint closest to hand.

Hi, its good that your injury is not so deep. Swelling is caused due to local inflammation and can be reduced by taking serratiopeptidase tablet (Bidanzen forte). But since you also will have pain along with swelling, better to take tab Emanzen D (combination of Serratiopeptidase with Diclofenac) twice a day for 3 days. Since both these drugs are gastric irritants, consume the drug after meals. It should reduce in about 3 to 5 days.
