Of course with anti-inflammatory drug swelling would be reduced but underlying cause of this need to be found out, because this could be due to infection, or may be due to some systemic pathology and for that some detail ought to be given here, along with age and gender, better to keep the leg in elevated position and Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day, take care.
