How To Reduce Tightness In Foreskin In A Diabetic?

Hello Doctor, Its been 2 years with the problem m facing, the foreskin often gets tight and there wounds nearby, for few days say 10-15 days it stays than it goes away , im a type2 diabetic patient also intake insulin. It is painful and disturbing . The smegma is often formed i visited a urologist , he suggested me to undergo circumcision but i dont want to plz suggest how get rid of this problem

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Since you are diabetic on treatment and you are having this problems with foreskin on and off, it is better you undergo circumcision.
Your doctor has suggested right for you, as it carries a risk of going in for phimosis or para-phimosis as complications or it may cause non-healing ulcers, which can get infected.
This is more likely to happen in diabetics.
Hence, it would be better for you to make up your mind for your own good health to undergo circumcision operation.
