General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You seem to have severe muscle strain while falling down leading to myalgia with inflammation&probably trauma to few muscle fibers. It would take 2 weeks time minimum to recover. Take rest, hot or cold packs. Application of muscle relaxant ointments like Relaxyl, over the counter, pain medicine over the counter (Ibuprofen 400mg after food), calcium and vitamin D supplements should help. Excessive trouble or no relief in a week demands consultation of expert.Consult a orthopedic surgeon.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
