Hi, I am Shweta and I am 29 year old...I am having a bad pain in my tooth after 2 moth moths of capping and it is without root canal. It is just a feeling ...NOw doctor gave me Ciplox TZ for 3 days and Meftal Fort for pain relief but I am still having pain. Doctor told me that it will take 3 days and may be it was an enfection.and for pain now he gave me Ketorol-DT.
As per your complain pain after crown placement can be due to infection in the tooth if there is some gap in between crown and the tooth leading to infection reaching the nerves causing inflammation and pain..
In case if the tooth preparation was done in excess and the tooth structure was less around the nerves there can be inflammation in the nerves due to any pinpoint exposure which was made accidentally during the cutting of the tooth and slowly with time the nerves got inflamed causing pain..
I would suggest you to get an x ray done so that the exact status of the tooth will be observed..
If required crown removal followed by root canal treatment and replacement of crown can be done.
Hope your query is solved..
