Sedentary lifestyle and unhealthy eating habits are primarily responsible for hormonal disturbances leading to conditions like PCOS. Since it is a lifestyle disorder, you need to make changes in your lifestyle by taking out time for activity and reducing your intake of fried, fatty and junk foods. Have a fibre rich and low fat diet which will not only aid in weight loss but also help in alleviating symptoms of PCOS. PCOS treatment revolves around medications and lifestyle modification. Only when it is brought under control, can you conceive successfully. So you need to take out time from your busy schedule for increasing physical activity. You can take short breaks at work and walk around for 15 minutes, if you are permitted. Take stairs instead of elevators. If you drive to your office, park your vehicle a little further away from your workplace to increase walking distance. Atleast this way you can increase your activity levels without disturbing your schedule.
