Stress usually causes dryness of mouth and
stomach upset in some individuals and is a normal response.You can try simple measures to reduce the symptoms:
1.Always keep a water bottle besides you have regular sips of water when you are stressed.
2.Avoid oily foodstuffs,caffeine containing products like tea,coffee and aerated drinks,instead have lots of fruits,green leafy vegetables.
3.Have light meals at shorter intervals than having heavy meals at long intervals.
4.Fix the timings of your meals especially have food early in the night atleast 1-2 hours before you sleep.Do regular exercise.
5.Quit
smoking,alcohol if you consume it
6. I usually advice my patients antacids like
pantoprazole in the morning empty stomach to decrease the acid levels.
7.
Meditation and yoga can definitely help to improve the ability to deal with stress.
