General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I am sorry you are in a difficult emotional situation. It is not uncommon when people are very distressed for there to be some shaking and the hands are the most visible place for this to happen. If it is related to emotional stress, the tremors themselves are not serious but I would recommend talking with a counselor for help with coping with the difficult emotional situation/family dysfunction.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bonnie Berger-Durnbaugh,
