Hi...I am a recovering alcoholic and have been sober for months. I still get the odd pain on my right side. My GGT came back elevated but was told by the specialist that it should go back to normal in time. I feel great now that I am sober and I am wondering if this prognosis for my liver rings true. Thank you.
As you are recovering from addiction such mild feeling of pain sometimes happen. There may be some congestion also in liver which is causing trouble. It will subside slowly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
