both my husband and myself have pain and hardening in leg and arm muscles is this normal in the elderly both in mid sixties can we do something to releive pain it is hard sometimes to use arms use ibpropen and ativon which does help some is this a type of inflamation tks in advance

Being active with mild stretching early and always warming up are the best methods to reduce pain and hardness. 2. Avoid too many oral analgesics, as it can cause gastritis. Try to use superfical analgesic sprays. You can also use hot fomentation also at times. Make sure, it is not too hot and could lead to burns.
