How To Relieve Severe Pain In Tonsils?

hi um like my tonsils hurt so bad and they have white stuff on it and like i can barley sleep because of the pain and i dont know what to do i tried advil and the antibiotics my doctor is giving me but they still hurt i what is the best thing i should do to sooth the pain?

benzocaine lozenges would relieve the pain to some extent.. continue paracetamol and complete the course of antibiotics
