Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m a 31 year old male (straight) and I have a soft lump on the outside of my anus. It s not on the anus just right next to it. It causes me no pain, and is about the size of a pea -- and again, very soft. It hasn t gone away in over a year which concerns me. Last year when I got it checked out the doctor told me it was a hemorrhoid. But after using a variety of creams and ointments shouldn t it have gone away by now? Bowel movements are normal too.
Welcome at HCM I appreciate your health concerns. In my opinion you should meet a surgeon. If it comes out to be haemorrhoid then you should get it treated. Your surgeon will advise proper treatment for it. Meanwhile stay calm and use laxatives and avoid constipation Hope it helps Regards Dr saad Sultan
