Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have stepped into a small rock pebble and it got suck in my foot I tried to get it out and then had to move and it grew a thick skin I already been to the emergcy room and dr and they just say to soak it the other say to use a corn remover and I did for the max amount it just made my skin have a circle of thinner skin it has grown and looks like it stuck with a small broke skin
* As per my surgical experience, the stuck pebble with covered skin overlying needs a surgical intervention of incision under local anesthesia and retrieval of the foreign body to avoid secondary bacterial infection.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
