Based on your history, you have 17.5 mm sized staghorn stone. The only treatment for it is PCNL (Per Cutaneous Nephrolithotomy) . It seems you have recurrent staghorn stone. You can prevent it by specific diet recommendations such as avoid food with high content of oxalates such as spinach, many berries, chocolate, wheat bran, nuts, beets, tea. Take tablet Lithostat two times a day. Take antibiotics to prevent infections.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Abdul Hamid Mavli, General & Family Physician
