How To Remove Small Bump On Forehead Formed After Falling?

my daughter fell down from the sofa and hit the forehead above the left eye, immediately after the fall, there is a big swell on her forehead but otherwise she seems alright and didn t vomit. We use hardboil egg to gently rub on the swell and it did subside and only left a little blue-black. Now after 2 weeks, when i gently feel her forehead with my fingers, it seems to have a very small bump and when i feel the right side, it doesn t seem to have any protuding bump like the left side. Am i over-sensitive, Should i bring her to see doctor. Thanks.

Hi,Dear,
Thanks for the query to HCM. I studied your problem in depth and I understood your concerns.
Treatment of bump on forehead-
for the left forehead lump which has not subsided-
I would advise you to
Use anti-inflammatory drugs / cold compresses to resolve the lump /and take ER Surgeon's consultation with MRI brain-to find any boney defects on left frontal skull bone and any hidden brain injury if any.
Local Voltaren gel(diclofen gel) would resolve the boney bump
Thrombophobe ointment locally to resolve the fibrosing hematoma and to reduce any hematoma on left side.
This advise is based on the facts from the history you give and needs further clinical check.
So don't build up wrong concepts and create more psychic complications in you which would increase risks and costs to you, but just ask a query to HCM and be comfortable to resolve your health issues.
