How To Self Stabilize And Calm Down During Panic Attacks/panic Disorder And Anxiety?
Hello,
I have had a history of panic attacks/panic disorder and anxiety with no underlining health problems to date.
Right this very moment I've been suffering a massive panic episode that hasn't gone away in over one hour. I keep having shortness of breath, anxiety, tingling in my hands and feet, cold shakes, trembling in my legs, upset stomach and I can't seem to get these symptoms to come down. I am a healthy 31 year old male and I'm trying to avoid calling an ambulance as I've done so 100's of times in the past and everything always looks normal and they send me home.
Do you have any advice on how I can self stabilize and make myself calm down?
In panic attack, all investigations like x-ray, ECG etc would come with in normal limit. I think , you should consult a psychiatrist to rule out underline psychological issue and you also need some antidepressant or low dose benzodiazepine that would help to control such episode.
Thanks
