How To Stop Addiction Of Allegra And OTC Nose Spray For Blocked Nose And Breath Freely?
For the last month my nose has been constantly stopped up. No coughing and just minor draining in the back of my throat. I have been taking allegra d for a month now and since it keeps me awake at night I have been using OTC nose spray at night to help me breathe through my nose and I think I am addicted to it. how can I stop using the nose spray but still be able to breathe? I started taking an antibiotic on Monday of this week hoping that maybe it is just a sinus infection and the antibitiotic would kick in and make the stuffiness go away . if I take the allegra d in the mornings then I can usually go all day without using the nose spray but if I don t use it at night before I go to bed I will wake up and my nose will be completely stopped up and when I blow my nose nothing comes out. Please help.
Hi. Thanks for a nice history. What you need is a CT scan of the nose and sinuses to find the exact cause. IF this needs a surgical correction , no spray can help. A thorough check up by ENT can help pin-point the problem and guide for the further treatment. This will automatically stop the need for the addiction you are developing.
