I am an alcoholic that has pancreas, liver, and gallbladder problems. My doctor will not prescribe me Librium because I am an alcoholic. I have gone from 12 beers (or more)a day to two to four beers a day trying to stop my pain. The struggle is hard. How can I get him to help me? I think my pain is coming from digestive problems and gastric issues, Yet I will never know if I cannot get help to stop drinking. I cannot do this on my own.
