How To Stop Head Ache And Lightheadedness During Pregnancy?

I have just been diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I haven't seen the specialist yet but have been eating all the way through a healthy diet and exercising. For the past 2 days I cut all carbs and sugar from diet. But today have felt really light headed and head achy. What can I do to stop this feeling? I'm 35 wk + 4 days

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Once diagnosed with diabetes, maintaining a balance becomes mandatory. We work towards not allowing our blood glucose levels to rise and this follow a well balanced diet, exercise and even take medications or insulin. But it is also important not to overdo this, which can result in a drop in blood sugar. I am presuming you have done this which has resulted in a drop in blood glucose levels resulting in the presentation you are experiencing now. Some amount of sugar or carbohydrates needs to be consumed.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
