I was on Cerezette for 6 weeks and it was hell. I have endometriosis and depression and it made me really low and I had my period for the last 3 weeks. I quit 3 days ago and I have a holiday in 3 weeks how can I make the bleeding stop? I will try ANYTHING
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Sorry to hear you are suffering from endometriosis. Excessive bleeding is typical of this gynecological problem. However, your symptoms may be controlled with progestin therapy.A synthetetic progesterone like norethisterone may help control your symptoms and also postpond your menses. You may as well try a progestin-only contraceptive for long term benefits.A progestin-only contraceptive, such as an intrauterine device (Mirena), contraceptive implant or contraceptive injection (Depo-Provera), can halt menstrual periods and the growth of endometrial implants, which may relieve endometriosis signs and symptoms. You may see your Gynecologist for evaluation and better treatment options. Hope this will help Wish you good health
