How To Stop Nose Bleeding?

I have had a stuffy bocked up nose for a couple weeks, although doesn t feel like a cold. Just feels like I need to blow my nose all the time. The right nostril has been bleeding, probably from excessive blowing. I ve just had a look right up into my nose with a torch and can see, in each nostril, right at the top at the back a big lump. Are these normal?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

You may be having turbinate hypertrophy with epistaxis. It may be due to infection or sinusitis or hypertension or nasal flake removal etc. Apply pressure continuously for 10-20 seconds. Use nasoclear normal saline spray twice a day for five days. If no improvement please consult with your ENT specialist he will do nasal endoscopy then treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
