How To Stop The Addiction Of Taking Zopiclone Tablets?
My ex partner has two girls, Kirsten and Megan, I left my ex several years ago but have always been there for the girls ( I call them my girls) the ex can be violent and mentally torturous, the youngest, Megan moved in with me over a year ago because her mum got violent and now Kirsten is in hospital this very minute because she tried to kill herself by taking over 30 paracetamol, megan told me last night some awful things that Kirsten had told her. There Mum is dieing of a cancer she has had for about 7/8 years, is also a crack addict, and travels to Spain and gets zopliclone tablets over the counter which she eats like smarties,,,,, is there any way I can get the mum sectioned or help (she won t accept help, she just pretends everything is ok and smiles) for her safety or at least the safety of my girls Kirsten aged 19 and Megan aged 17

As per my clinical experience, the Zopiclone is a non benzodiazepine group of drug from Cyclopyrrolone family having excellent results in insomnia conditions. However, as there is intake since a long duration of time period, it is becoming habitual for the patient to induce changes at neurotransmitter levels in the brain. The sudden stoppage of the same is dangerous in many of the cases.
In my clinic, I do recommend thorough explanation on tapering schedules and further guidelines.
- First of all do half dose for a period of 15 days, one third dose of beginning for next 1 month, one forth dose for next 15 days and one forth dose on alternate days for 1 month
- Supportive counselling sessions are mandatory to be thoroughly explained very detailed way.
