How To Stop The Usage Of Gardinal Tablet For Epilepsy?

I am a 33 year old male diagnosed with Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy since the age of 13 years. I am presently on 60 mg daily dose of Gardinal (Phenobarbitone)
I now wish to reduce/stop this medicine. However, all past attempts to reduce the medicine have resulted in seizures.

What would be recommended for me? The primary reason for me wanting to stop this medicine is it side effects related to erection
