I am a female 41 years old and I have been losing lots of hair the last 3 months. I have almost lost 1/3 of my hair. I am only taking Calcium, Vitamin D and C as supplements and some times Omega 3 but not regularly. I asked the Pharmacist and they gave me Biotin. Is the any adverse effect if you are taking the other vitamins and Biotin on a daily basis? Is there any natural ways I can prevent more loss of hair and strengthen back my hair? Thank you Maria
Hello maria, Biotin and zinc supplements are good for hairfall problem. Ifon and folic acid deficiency may also cause hairfall. Protein and omega 3 supplements improve the quality,texture and lusture of hair.And you can take calcium and vit d supplements as before as they are required for any women aged 40 years and above. Natural ways to prevent hair loss includes applying hair oil(olive oil + castor oil mixed)overnight and washing your scalp the next day with a mild shampoo.Repeat it once every week. Spa therapy may also benefit you. Thanks
